Vidial, started by a group of students from Coimbatore Institute of Technology in 2004, has a college chapter consisting of students hacing social concern from CIT, Coimbatore. The college chapter is one of the core strengths of Vidial, providing a constant feed of vibrant, experienced persons to carry out various programs.
The activities being carried out by Vidial's college chapter are
  • Teaching and mentoring the Anbu Illam students, providing them with a platform to develop their skills .
  • Taking part in various activities carried out by Shanthi Ashram, a non profit organization started by Dr.M.Aram, which carries activities in various fields of social welfare.
  • Taking care of Vidial beneficiaries in Coimbatore zone.
  • Carrying out field works

These activities help the team in understanding the practical difficulties involved in executing social welfare projects and gives us an invaluable hands on experience. It also helps us understand the intricacies invloved in running an organization.
